Description:

Clock is the heart of digital audio. By providing devices with high-precision clocks, digital audio devices can achieve sound quality with high resolution and transparency, minimizing sampling errors in DACs.
 
All digital audio equipment, including network players, must rely on the clock for digital/to-analog conversion, so the quality of the clock is closely related to the sound quality. The master clock with very low adjacent phase noise is the key to low time base error, and OCK-2 provides a better external clock performance, compared with general built-in clocks.

The OCXO used in OCK-2 has very low phase noise. The phase noise of the rubidium oscillator generally used to measuring instrument is about -70dBc, while the phase noise of the American rubidium oscillator used by most audio manufacturers is about -100dBc, and the phase noise of the OCK-2 OCXO is as low as < -115 dBc at 1Hz! This phase noise is very low.

The back of this device can connect to 6 devices supporting 10M input, including USB DAC network player and SA-CD player. Each output channel has a DIP switch to switch between 50Ω/75Ω. Since the DIP switches are internal, you need to contact customer service for the setting in advance. The default setting is 6CH 50Ω.

Each set of OCK-2 circuits is isolated from the power section output to the buffer driver of the stage. This prevents cross-interference and flickering when multiple devices are connected to the BNC interface. By adding a buffer driver to each circuit, the signal waveform is also less attenuated when all six sets of generated clock signals are shared. Therefore, each BNC interface output can provide an ultra-high accuracy 10MHz clock signal.

Powered by a linear power supply, it has near-zero noise. EMI filtering, 15W UK transformer (for Talema) and high-speed rectifier filtering help maximize the power of super OCXO. Three independent LT3042 and PNP architectures provide UV-level power to the crystal oscillator, frequency modulation reference circuit, and motherboard output. This greatly facilitates critical clock generation and high-precision output.
