M-130A Car Shortwave Antenna Auto Tuning Fit for YAESU ICOM ATAS-120A
Description:
M-130A Antenna is upgraded on the base of M-120A. It outperforms other famous brands in interior structure, premium parts and affordable price.
All the parts feature lower error about 0.05mm. Its antenna vibrator can be replaced with rod antenna of M10 connector, which improves the efficiency of 3.5/7MHz and expand its application scope.
The vibrator of this version is made with two imoported high-elastic steel wires. It comes with aluminum alloy case for easy storage and carrying. It can be packed in your car trunk.
Applications:
- M-130A fully fits for YAESU T-857D, FT-450D, FT-897D, FT-991 & FT-891. Only use one feeder line to connect it to your radio, requiring no extra power supply and data cable separately. Please do settings in the radio’s menu. Press TUNE button on the panel to automatically control the antenna’s lifting and lowering, and it will stop moving until it reaches to the best standing wave ratio.
- For other radios, please purchase AX-17 shortwave antenna automatic controller separately.
- Tune the antenna at 144MHz/433MHz to make it fully retracted and packed in the case.

Operation Steps for FT-857D:
1.Press FUNC for a long time to enter into Menu 1, and change it to ON (open the extended menu)
2.In Menu 85, use the large knob to select ATAS (ALL)
3. Press FUNC for a long time to save the settings
4. Short press FUNC to adjust K and the display shows TUNE, DOWN, UP.
5. Press A button for a long time. When you hear BI, the display shows INIT, indicating that it is initialized (it will be completed automatically).
6. When the initialization is completed in 60s, the antenna will automatically find the resonance point.
7. Adjust it to your desired frequency. Long press A button to re-adjust.
8. Manual Adjustment: Adjust to FM mode, press the hand microphone PTT transmission power, and then press B or C button (corresponding to DOWN / UP), the antenna will move up and down. The manual mode is only used to fine tune the position of the antenna to achieve a lower SWR. It is not recommended to move the antenna up and down over long distances.
