Misunderstandings about Car Audio:
1. It is not powered by battery alone without boosting, but it is said to be high power.
At present, most DSP power amplifiers with dedicated lines are for special cars, and car and the original car host share power supply. Because the power cord of the original car's main engine is very thin, high current cannot pass, so it can't achieve high power. The original car battery has only 12V. Therefore, it is necessary to boost the voltage to increase the voltage, and the boosted DSP circuit board will have a transformer, so the judgment of whether it is a high-power product depends on whether it is boosted and whether the battery is connected to the power supply.

2. It is not safe to connect electricity from the battery.
Many car users are worried that it is unsafe to connect the battery to the power source. It is not true. The battery-powered DSP is independent of the original car system in terms of power supply. Even if the wiring is wrong, it will not affect the original car. Instead, the battery is not connected to the power source. DSP, because it shares the power supply with the original car host, since it is shared, there must be a probability of influence. For some rarely used models or new cars, if the wiring is wrong, the positive and negative poles will be inverted, and the insurance will be burned and even the host will be burned separately. DSP powered by battery is safer and more stable.

3. Power is too large to bear for loudspeaker line.
The original car speaker cable can bear it. The principle is as follows: DSP's wiring harness has a power cord and a speaker cable. The original car 12V is fixed, so in the case of high power, the power cord will bear high current, so the requirements for the power cord are relatively high. This principle is like a home There are many electrical appliances and high power, so thick copper wire should be used at this time. The working principle of the speaker cable is just the opposite. After the power supply is boosted, the speaker cable becomes a high voltage and low current, so the power cable is not demanding. The principle is like, you take a very thin wire On the 220V power strip, its voltage is still 220V, and the speaker wire voltage is only a few tens of volts, so the audio has high requirements for the power cord in terms of safety, but not the speaker wire.

4. With such a large power amplifier, will it burn my speakers?
The loudspeaker will not burn if the amplifier power is high, and the loudspeaker will burn only if the amplifier power is small. Under normal circumstances, the power amplifier power is required to be greater than the speaker power, so that when dealing with ultra-high or ultra-bass, it is enough to meet the needs of instant peak power. It's similar to the speed of a car. The car can run at 200 speeds. It doesn't mean you will run at 200 as soon as you hit the road. It depends on the road conditions. On the contrary, if the power amplifier power is small, the speaker power is large, and the power amplifier has no power margin, when the music peak comes, harmonic distortion will be generated due to overload, light sound quality is poor, and heavy sound quality is burnt.
