Description:
The ESD Wrist Strap Tester verifies whether there is a proper connection between the operator, the wrist strap, and the grounding wire. If the wrist strap is damaged, too loose, or disconnected, the device will issue an alarm, ensuring the reliability of static discharge from the human body through the wrist strap to the ground.

When wearing the wrist strap, insert the plug at the end of the wire into the socket on the front of the tester. A green light indicates everything is functioning properly, while a red light and sound alert signal that the resistance is either too high or too low.

Wrist Strap Test:
This test verifies whether there is a proper connection between the operator, wrist strap, and ground.
A: When wearing the wrist strap, insert the plug at the end of the wire into the socket on the front of the tester.
B: Press the test button to start the tester; it will activate within 2–3 seconds. (Do not touch any metal parts during testing.)
C: The green PASS LED lights up, indicating the wrist strap and grounding device are functioning normally.
D: If the LO or HI LED lights up and an audible alarm sounds, the wearer should immediately check the wrist strap device for proper function.

Indicator Lights and Their Meanings:
* LO Red Light On: Low resistance, R < 740kΩ. Check the wrist strap and ground wire resistance as this may affect the wearer.
* PASS Green Light On: Normal, 750kΩ ≤ R ≤ 9MΩ. Grounding system is safe, and the test passes.
* HI Red Light On: High resistance, R > 11MΩ. Check that the wrist strap is worn tightly and in full contact with the skin, and verify the wrist strap and ground wire resistance to ensure no breaks.
