Description:

- The TFS20-L is a fully integrated single-channel dToF ranging mini-module that incorporates a highly sensitive infrared-enhanced SPAD sensor, with a range of up to 20m. Utilizing a fully integrated SPAD chip solution, histogram statistical algorithm, and a fast TDC architecture, it achieves high-precision distance measurement while offering sunlight resistance of 15m at 100KLux, along with a reflectivity correction feature.
- With a compact size, lightweight design, accurate and long-range measurement capabilities, and excellent distance measurement performance even under strong ambient light, it is an excellent choice for miniature dToF applications.
- The TFS20-L integrated power module operates on a single 3.3V power supply and features built-in temperature compensation. It supports for I²C and UART interfaces, making it easy to integrate and use. With its compact and reliable optical packaging, it is suitable for a wide range of applications, including consumer drones, service robots, and the Internet of Things.

Applications:
- Drone altitude determination: During low altitude flight, the accuracy of barometers and GPS will be affected to varying degrees. To fly closely to the ground, absolute altitude information is essential. LiDAR can provide highly reliable true height measurement data with centimeter level accuracy, allowing drones to fly smoothly close to the ground. At the same time, it can also provide distance information for the camera to assist in correcting image distortion.
- UAV assisted landing: The measurement accuracy of LiDAR gradually improves with the reduction of measurement distance, and the accuracy within 6m can reach<± 6cm, which can very well meet the high-precision measurement requirements of assisted landing within this critical distance.
- Robot anti fall: Most sensors on the service robot body can only detect obstacles in the horizontal plane, and cannot effectively detect obstacles below the horizontal plane or the ground. LiDAR can provide accurate measurement data of different reflectivity surfaces, and the robot will not experience sudden distance changes when moving on different surfaces, which helps the robot operate smoothly and efficiently.
