Description:
The only difference between the V4-EC IR and the V4-EC is the addition of infrared remote control functionality. This feature allows users to operate the WandererCover via an IR remote, making it more convenient for use in the field or with ASIAIR.

Features:
* Only a single 12V power cable is required — no USB connection needed unless controlling via ASCOM, simplifying your field setup.
* Exclusive cable management design prevents power cable damage during operation; soft cushioning pads protect your telescope from scratches. There are cable ties for universal installation.
* Built-in micro-encoder provides real-time, accurate feedback on the cover's position, allowing remote monitoring of the angle without opening the monitoring camera. Repeat positioning accuracy reaches ±0.25°, ensuring precise open/close operations every time. Opening and closing angles are customizable.
* It features a brand-new motor with over 50% increased load capacity for enhanced durability and prevention of gearbox failure. Built to withstand low temperatures, it operates reliably in conditions as cold as -20°C. Tested lifespan exceeds 3,000 open and close cycles for the WandererCover V4-EC IR series.
* In humid environments, dew may form on the flat panel overnight. If the dew does not evaporate promptly, closing the cover can trap moisture inside the telescope, potentially causing lens dampness and mold over time. The V4-EC IR series features built-in heating elements that keep the cover dry throughout the night or quickly evaporate dew in the morning. The dew heater can be controlled via NINA's advanced sequence using the "Device Actions and Commands" plugin. (Please refer to the user manual for details.)
* Thanks to the built-in encoder, the V4-EC IR series provides automatic detection of open and closed positions. If the device is not nearby and manual settings are not possible, the WandererCover can automatically detect obstacles and set the open and closed positions. However, it is always recommended to manually set the open and closed angles! Use automatic detection only as a last resort when the flat panel angle cannot be observed. It is normal for the motor box to heat up during automatic detection. The detected angle can be influenced by various factors, and success is not guaranteed. Avoid repeated attempts if unsuccessful.
* The new ASCOM driver offers a more user-friendly experience. It supports both automatic and manual port selection and allows simultaneous connection of up to six devices.
* The new dimming controller increases the PWM dimming frequency by 100%, further reducing the risk of banding and ensuring that no banding occurs during exposures longer than 0.1 seconds. With 255 levels of brightness adjustment, it meets flat-field shooting requirements for everything from color cameras to narrowband imaging. Even when capturing 3nm narrowband flats at maximum brightness, it takes only about 1 second!
* Designed to resist extreme cold, the device operates reliably in temperatures as low as -25°C (-13°F).
* With the latest firmware, the device is compatible with ZWO ASIAIR Plus, ToupTek StellaVita, and any system capable of DC switch control. (Please refer to the user manual for detailed instructions.)

Warm Reminder:
* The luminous diameter should be equal to or greater than the outer diameter of the telescope's dew shield.
* For example, if a 100mm telescope has a dew shield with an outer diameter of 120mm, you should select the 125mm model.
