Description:

-The passive near-field probe in the kit is a cost-effective near-field probe used to find the source of interference and determine the cause of the interference. It is used to detect the direction and strength of the magnetic field on the surface of the device, detect the magnetic field coupling channel, and then adjust the connector position, detect the magnetic field environment near the module, conduct EMI testing, find the real interference source or its propagation path, and the positioning function can be easily realized through the passive near-field probe.
-The broadband preamplifier module in the kit is an amplifier with wide frequency range, stable gain, low noise, and large dynamic range. It can be used in various RF receiving front ends, increasing communication distance, wide shortwave, FM broadcasting, and remote control receivers, cable TV signal amplifiers and other places that need low-noise and small-signal radio frequency amplification; and when the interference signal is relatively weak, using this amplifier module can improve the sensitivity of the system test.

-The probe includes No. 1~4 magnetic field probe and No. 5 electric field probe. The probe has SMA interface for direct connection with oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer or EMC receiver.
-Magnetic field probe No. 1 is mainly used for EMI conduction rectification. It can be applied to conduction and chassis radiation testing. The power cord can pass through the center of the probe to test the conduction of the power cord. The working frequency is 9kHz ~ 3GHz.
-Magnetic field probes No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and electric field probes are mainly used for rectification of EMI space radiation. It can be used for magnetic field radiation test, working frequency is 30MHz ~ 3GHz.

2. Broadband preamplifier
Broadband preamplifier, which mainly amplifies the weak signal to be tested. The frequency range of AMP-L module is 10MHz~3GHz; the gain is about 35dB. The preamplifier contains lithium batteries for easy application, and is equipped with a standard USB adapter for charging.

3. Use Instruction
IN: input signal

(1) The amplifier has very good flatness when the frequency is less than 500MHz, carefully adjusted to less than 1dB, the lower the frequency, the greater the gain and the higher the consistency.
(2) The broadband preamplifier contains a lithium battery. Press the switch button and the broadband preamplifier module can work normally. When normal working, indicator is blue. If the indicator light flashes in blue, it indicates that the voltage of the lithium battery is too low, the module is not working properly and needs to be charged with the Micro standard port USB. The module can still work normally during charging. During charging, the indicator light is red; fully charged, the indicator light is green.
(3) The frequency gain curve of the broadband preamplifier is shown in the figure below.


(4) Use: Connect the output of the near-field probe to the input of a broadband preamplifier, and connect the output of the amplifier to the input interface of the test receiver.
