400W 12500RPM DC Brushless Spindle Motor Driver Set for Engraving Machine Mach3 Speed Regulation

Advantages:

* Air-cooled DC brushless spindle motor with fixture, featuring high speed
* With a motor driver and 48V 500W switching power supply

Brushless Spindle Motor:
* Diameter: 55MM/2.2"
* Overall length: 180MM/7.1"
* Type: Air-cooled spindle
* Working voltage: 48VDC
* Speed: 12500RPM (idling)
* Can work with or without Hall

Motor Driver:
It is suitable for the control of three-phase DC brushless motor, with 10A current.
1. Start and stop
2. External potentiometer analog speed regulation
3. Inertia stop
4. Forward and reverse
5. Undervoltage and over-voltage protection
6. Stall protection
7. Compatible with the working mode with and without Hall: when switching between each other, first shut down and power off

Performance Parameters of Driver:
* Voltage range: 20-50VDC
* Rated current: 8A
* Rated output power: depends on the actual product
* Current limit: about 10A
* Position sensing mode: support with and without Hall position sensing; Hall electrical angle is 120 degrees
* Supported RPM: depends on motor and load
* Insulation resistance: >100MΩ at normal temperature and pressure
* Dielectric strength: 0.5KV at normal temperature and pressure (1 minute)

Terminal Wiring:
PWR (Input power supply):
* DC port

MOTOR:
* U: Blue wire
* V: Black wire
* W: Red wire

HALL:
* Positive: Red line
* Negative: Black line
* HU: Blue line
* HV: Green Line
* HW: White wire

Speed Regulation:
* SV: The potentiometer controls the speed; the feet on both sides of the potentiometer are connected to the power supply and the ground, and the middle foot is connected to the SV

On/Off:
* BR: Coast to stop when grounded

Forward Reverse:
* F/R: reverse when it is connected to low level

Protection Introduction:
* Undervoltage and over-voltage protection: When the working voltage drops to a certain value, the system starts under-voltage protection, that is, the motor inertia stops. When the working voltage rises to a certain value, the system starts over-voltage protection.
* Over-current protection: When it is over-current, the system starts over-current protection. In order to prevent the controller or the motor from being damaged, the motor inertial stops rotating, and the motor will automatically return to the working state after the current is normal.
* Locked-rotor protection: The current is maintained for several hundred milliseconds after the motor is locked, the control turns off the output, and the motor stops rotating by inertia. Within the specified time, if the locked rotor is released, it will resume operation manually.

Using Environment and Parameters:
* Storage temperature: -20℃ to +65℃
* Use environment: Occasion: Avoid direct contact with dust, oil fume and corrosive gas; Temperature: 0 to 45℃; Humidity: < 80% (no frost); Vibration: 5.9m/S2 MAX
* Storage humidity: 0~95%RH

Faults and Analysis:
I. The motor does not rotate:
Failure cause analysis:
1. Check if the power supply is working properly
2. Check if the wiring is correct
3. The positive and negative poles of the Hall are wrong (this error can easily cause damage to the Hall)
4. The position combination relationship between the Hall wire and the motor phase wire is wrong

II. The motor is working at low/fast speed or vibrating
Failure cause analysis:
1. Check if the voltage is normal
2. Check whether the phase of the Hall is correct, because it is easy for users to connect the phase of the Hall in a wrong way

Precautions:
* After the motor is connected, please run the motor at low speed first, then gradually increase the speed, and then connect a load if there is no problem.
* During use, please pay attention to whether the motor heats up quickly (tens of seconds to one or two minutes). When the temperature rises to the point where people feel very hot, stop the machine in time and find the cause.

Package Included:
* 1 x Brushless Spindle Motor with Fixture
* 1 x BLDC Motor Driver
* 1 x Switching Power Supply
* 1 x Cable with Potentiometer and Switch
