- The 2.1 preamplifier board left and right stereo + a subwoofer (subwoofer speaker) is equivalent to a 3-channel independent amplifiers, with 2 channels on the left and right, and one subwoofer channel. The subwoofer's function is to compensate for the subwoofer part of stereo sound, usually at frequencies below 100Hz. This model 2.1 preamplifier board needs to be paired with a 3-channle rear stage amplifier board. It is recommended to use one board with a 3-channel amplifier circuit, or use a 2-channel rear stage amplifier board with a mono rear stage amplifier board. The speaker needs a stereo speaker and a subwoofer, which is what we call the 2.1 audio matching system.
