Using steps:
- Connect H2 through the intake port on the negative electrode of the fuel cell, exhaust the air inside the fuel cell, and then block the lower outlet port
- Turn on the load
- Open the hydrogen gas outlet every 60 seconds to discharge water vapor and then block it.

Precaution:
- The negative electrode of the fuel cell has two ports (upper inlet and lower outlet).
- The negative electrode is connected to hydrogen gas, and the positive electrode of the fuel cell is connected to the atmosphere.
- Short-circuit operation is forbidden.
- It is not possible to connect external voltage at both ends of the fuel cell voltage.
- Long term operation of both positive and negative electrodes will produce liquid water. An air compressor or needle cylinder can be used to drain the liquid water by pressure.
