Description:
PCAN-FD PLUS (PCANFD+), a CAN FD adapter, connects CAN FD and CAN networks to a PC via USB.

The main feature of the new CAN FD standard (CAN with Flexible Data Rate) is higher data transmission bandwidth. Each CAN FD frame has up to 64 bits of data (instead of the current 8 bits) and can be transmitted at a maximum bit rate of 8Mbit/s. CAN FD is backward compatible with CAN 2.0 A/B standard, so CAN FD nodes can be used in existing CAN networks.

- Supports high-speed CAN connection (ISO 11898-2) and CAN FD (supports ISO and non-ISO switching)
- Supports bit rate adjustment: 25Kbit/s~8Mbit/s
- Timestamp resolution is about 1μs
- Compatible with CAN 2.0A (11-bit ID) and 2.0B (29-bit ID)
- CAN bus connection via 9-pin D-Sub connector (according to CiA® 303-1)
- CAN galvanic isolation up to 1500V
- Supports bus load measurement, error frame detection and bus status monitoring
- Supports for Linux system. The kernel for Linux has integrated driver (Socket CAN)
- Supports for MacOS (MacCAN)
