JYR4010plus Shortwave Antenna HF Antenna 7/14/21/28MHz Waterproof Joint w/ 4B150PLUS End-Fed Balun

Description:

How can it be called a long wire antenna? For convenience, we call the antenna that works in the low frequency band as a long-line antenna.

Why use a long wire antenna?
1. It is not easy to set up an antenna in a city. This antenna is very simple to set up.
2. It has a slight gain, and has a better effect than a dipole antenna in its larger radiation direction.
3. Its directivity at close range is not obvious.
4. Rapid erection to meet the of mobile emergency communication.

Attention:
Long-line antenna boasts simple structure, low price and moderate gain. Compared with Yagi antennas and anti-polar periodic antennas, it has lower length directivity and gain. But its advantage is that because its gain is related to line length, users can find the length and angle suitable for receiving line. By comparing the signal wavelength, the length of line is calculated, which is very suitable for long-distance communication. When the line length is 4 times the wavelength and the elevation angle is 25 degrees, the gain is 3dB higher than that of the dipole antenna; when the line length is 8 times the wavelength, the gain is 6dB higher and the elevation angle drops to 18 degrees.

Specifications:
- Antenna model: JYR4010plus (4-band 7/14/21/28Mhz)
- Antenna configuration: Antenna with End-fed balun x 1, Storage bag x 1; 2.5 square vibrator 20m/65.6ft x 1; Outdoor drawstring 20m/65.6ft x 1
- Input power: Transmitting in 30s and receiving in 30s, it is less 150W in SSB and CW modes; less than 100W in FT8 mode; less than 70W in FM, AM and FSK modes. When the transmission is greater than the reception time ratio, the transmission power must be appropriately reduced
- Frequency range: 3-30mhz

Antenna Erection:

The end-fed antenna has low requirements for erection, and it can work normally if it is more than 2m/6.6ft away from the ground. In order to achieve a desired effect, it should be as high as possible and as open as possible. When the antenna is erected vertically, the communication is far away due to low elevation angle, that is, it is equivalent to an omnidirectional antenna. When erected horizontally, due to high elevation angle and close communication, it also has a certain directionality.

Package Included:
- 1 x Set of Antenna

Note:
- Feeder line is not included. Please purchase separately.
- In order to ensure the waterproof function of its connector, vertical inclination angle should be less than 20 degrees for installation.
