Description:
- The default working mode of network IO devices is slave mode, which can be host queried and controlled by both the network and RS485 end simultaneously. You can also choose the master mode, and the RS485 interface of the device can cascade Modbus RTU devices, which is suitable for remote monitoring and control project applications, such as temperature and humidity agricultural greenhouse monitoring applications.
- Master mode: After receiving data, network IO devices first determine whether the target address is a local address. If it is a local address, the protocol is processed, and non local addresses are forwarded. Users can mount multiple slave devices on the RS485 bus through this mode.
- Slave mode: In this mode, the network IO device is mounted as a slave device under the master device and can also be used by a single device. The device parses and processes the received data. If the target address is a local address, the device responds accordingly. Otherwise, the data is discarded.
