Chip Description:
MAX2605 module, with P2 and P4 jumper caps plugged in, adjusts the carrier frequency with onboard slip. The carrier frequency can be adjusted from 44M to 54MHz. At the same time, the audio signal can be input from the audio input port or the Vin port, and the FM modulation output can be obtained from OUT+ and OUT-.

The MAX2605 is a compact, high-performance IF VCO designed for demanding portable wireless communication systems. It consists of a low-noise, low-power IC that runs in a tiny 6-pin SOT32 package.

The low noise VCO features on-chip varactor and feedback capacitors, requiring no external tuning components. It makes MAX2605 suitable for portable systems. Only  the oscillation frequency of an external inductor needs settings.

It provides an integrated differential output buffer for driving the mixer or divider. The buffer can provide up to -8dBm (differential) output with a simple power match. It also provides isolation from load impedance variations.

The chip is powered by +2.7V to +5.5V single power supply and provides low current consumption. The IF oscillator can cover frequency from 45MHz to 650MHz.
