Note:
- Don’t rotate the switch knob when the instrument is testing.
- When the approximate value of the measured quantity cannot be determined, turn the range switch to the position of the maximum measurement limit, and then select the appropriate measurement limit, so that the pointer can get the maximum deflection.
- When measuring DC current, the instrument shall be connected in series with the measured ammeter. It is forbidden to directly connect the instrument across the voltage ends of the measured circuit to prevent the instrument from being damaged due to overload.
- When measuring the resistance value in the circuit, cut off the power supply of the circuit to be measured. If there is a capacitor in the circuit, discharge it before measuring. Do not measure the resistance when the circuit is live.
- When carrying the instrument or after each use, it is better to turn the switch knob "S2" to "。" Position, make the two poles of the measuring mechanism short circuited, and turn "S1" to "。” position, the internal circuit of the instrument is in open circuit state to prevent damage to the instrument due to the wrong position of the switch knob for measurement.
- To ensure safety, when measuring the AC/DC 2500V limit, fix one end of the test rod on the circuit ground potential, and contact the other end of the test rod with the high-voltage power supply to be measured. During the test, the high-voltage operation procedures shall be strictly followed, and both hands must be equipped with high-voltage insulation Rubber gloves, high-voltage insulation rubber plate shall be paved on the floor, and the test shall be carried out with caution.
- The instrument shall be kept clean and dry frequently to avoid affecting the accuracy and damaging the instrument.
