Description:

There is no 120 ohm termination resistor configured in the PCAN FD by default. This product is equipped with an external DB9 interface 120 ohm resistor

The CAN FD adapter PCAN-USB FD can connect CAN FD and CAN network to a computer via USB.

The main feature of the new CAN FD standard (CAN with Flexible Data Rate) is the higher data transmission bandwidth. A maximum of 64 data bits per CAN FD frame (instead of the current 8 bits) can be transmitted at 8Mbit/s bit rate. CAN FD is backward compatible with the CAN 2.0A/B standard, so CAN FD nodes can be used in existing CAN networks.
