Before You Buy – Important Notes:
Embodied intelligence for robotics is still an emerging technology worldwide and has not yet reached the stage of fully autonomous household task execution. This product is a low-cost, general-purpose dual-arm mobile embodied intelligence development platform, not a plug-and-play consumer household robot.

Before purchasing, please ensure that you have basic knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu) or macOS development environments, GitHub workflows, and Python programming. Beginners can typically acquire these fundamentals within about one week using online tutorials or AI-assisted learning. We strongly recommend reviewing the detailed documentation on the official website to assess whether you can complete the required setup and development tasks. Prior to placing an order, you may also try the simulation examples provided on the XLeRobot official website via the ManiSkill simulation platform.

If you have never used Ubuntu before, you may refer to online tutorials (e.g., on Bilibili) to install an Ubuntu dual-boot system on your Windows PC.

Teleoperation Devices:
Teleoperation controllers are not included in this kit. The XLeRobot official website provides example code for multiple control methods, including keyboard, original controller for Xbox , NS Joy-Con, and Quest 3 VR. You may also use the Hugging Face official master–slave arm teleoperation system (requires purchasing an additional pair of master arms separately). Please select the appropriate control device according to your own requirements.

Battery and Mobile Cart:
Batteries are not included in this kit. It is recommended to purchase a commercially available high-power portable power bank that supports at least two Type-C outputs, each capable of over 65W fast charging, with a total output power of 140W or higher. For the mobile cart, we recommend purchasing the original IKEA RÅSKOG cart (large version) directly from IKEA to ensure proper mechanical compatibility with the XLeRobot hardware.

Computing Device:
A computing device is not included in this kit. For general developers, it is recommended to use your own laptop for development. A system equipped with an NVIDIA discrete GPU (RTX 30 series or higher) is strongly recommended to better run advanced vision algorithms, VLA inference, and reinforcement learning policies. For more advanced users, you may choose to deploy independent computing platforms such as Raspberry Pi, Horizon Robotics AI development boards, NVIDIA Jetson Orin, or NVIDIA Jetson Thor. Please note that system configuration, software setup, and power supply integration for these devices must be handled by the user.
