Description:
- ArtNet-DMX2 is an Ethernet to DMX bidirectional converters. It provides bi-directional conversions from ArtNet to DMX512. - ArtNet-DMX2 is factory configured with an IP address of 2.xxx and subnet mask of 255.0.0.0, which generally does not need to be modified and can be plug and play. Special network configurations can be modified by using PC configuration tools and Web browsers.
Signal input:
- The input mode converts DMX signals from traditional consoles into Art Net signals for transmission over Ethernet. It's like a standard ArtNet console. You can control all Art-Net nodes connected to the same UNIVERSE on the network.
Signal output:
- The output mode receives information from the same UNIVERSE ArtNet compatible transmitter, converts it into DMX512 signals, and directly controls the DMX device to achieve networking.
Configuration:
- ArtNet-DMX2 to configure the device using the exception succinctly PC-based configuration tool and WEB browser. Art-Net standard uses a Class A IP address, you can set 2.xxx (subnet mask 255.0.0.0) or 10.xxx (subnet mask 255.0.0.0). If the console has a special setting, you can change the device IP to its same network segment. IP address has four modes selectable 2.xxx automatic, 10.xxx automatic, DHCP, user-defined mode, the first two IP address automatically generated, subnet mask are 255.0.0.0, DHCP address assigned by a DHCP server, and finally A custom settings as needed.
