Description:
The antenna base can be used with telescopic antennas with 10mm thread to assemble V shortwave antennas. Fixed with a pole, the antenna base can be screwed directly onto a photographic tripod or a light stand with 1/4 or 3/8 thread. The antenna mount makes it extremely easy to set up in the field.
5mm epoxy board is used as its bottom plate. The board is made of CNC cutting and punching. It is sturdy and has excellent insulation. The thread of the antenna interface is 10mm/0.4", and common 5.6m/18.4ft or 5.2m/17.1ft stainless steel telescopic antennas can be screwed on. The fixing parts are made of 304 stainless steel fasteners with a thickness of 6mm/0.2". U-shaped nuts enable easy manual operation, requiring no tools. The matching u-shaped fasteners support 20-25mm/0.8-1" support rods, and 35mm/1.4" support rods can be used after replacing with larger U-shaped fasteners.
Balun is not included in the package. Users can purchase a 1:1 balun separately to use the antenna mount. A simple hollow choke can also be wound with a feeder. It can be used normally even without a balun.
